Terms and Conditions
Bristol Christmas Market
Last updated: 14 October 2026
These terms explain how you may use our website and the conditions that apply when you book a Bristol Christmas Market experience with us. Please read them alongside the description and any specific conditions shown before you pay, and keep a copy with your booking confirmation.
1. Who we are
Bristol Christmas Market is operated by Relevention Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 06393533. Our registered office is 24 Cecil Avenue, Bournemouth, BH8 9EJ, United Kingdom.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Relevention Ltd. Contact us at info@bristolchristmasmarket.com or through the contact form at www.bristolchristmasmarket.com/contact. Our registered office is not the market venue.
2. Our website and market information
Our website provides information about the market, experiences, traders, entertainment and bookings. We take reasonable care to keep it accurate. Opening times, stall locations, entertainment and availability may change, including for safety or operational reasons. Please check current information before travelling.
Illustrations, photographs and the interactive map help you plan your visit but are not exact plans, live navigation tools or guarantees that every feature will be available. Follow on-site signs and staff instructions. Contact us for access information about a particular route or experience.
Smart Chat, where available, provides general assistance and may give incomplete or inaccurate answers. Please contact our team to confirm booking changes, refunds, allergies, access requirements or other arrangements that need individual attention. This does not remove responsibility for information on which you are legally entitled to rely.
3. Booking an experience
Our website links to DigiTickets for online bookings. The experience description, date, time, duration, group size, inclusions, total price and any specific restrictions shown before payment form part of your booking agreement. Please check them carefully. Optional food and drink packages are included only where selected and confirmed.
You must be at least 18 to make a booking and be authorised to book for your party. Please provide accurate contact details and make your party aware of the conditions relevant to their visit.
A booking is accepted when we, or our authorised booking provider on our behalf, issue a booking confirmation. If payment has been taken but we cannot accept the booking, we will refund it. Contact us promptly if the confirmation contains an error or does not arrive.
For an experience sold by Relevention Ltd, using a booking or payment provider does not transfer our responsibility for delivering that experience. Where a separate operator is the seller, their identity and applicable terms must be clear before you book. Separate trader and business-to-business agreements are outside these consumer booking terms.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling. The total payable, including applicable taxes and mandatory charges, will be disclosed before payment. Optional extras require your agreement. Pay the amount and any balance by the deadlines stated during booking.
Payment is processed through the provider identified at checkout. Please do not send card details by email or through our contact form. We will not increase the price of a confirmed booking without your agreement.
5. Changes and cancellations requested by you
Please contact us as soon as possible, quoting your booking reference, if you need to change or cancel. We will try to offer another available date or time, but cannot guarantee availability. Any price difference or reasonable amendment charge must be explained and agreed before the change is made.
Bookings for leisure activities or catering on a specific date or during a specific period are generally excluded from the statutory 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. This does not remove your rights if we cancel, fail to provide the service as agreed, or otherwise breach the contract.
If you cancel or do not attend for reasons unrelated to a breach by us, a refund is not automatic. Any amount we retain must be fair and reflect our actual net loss, taking account of costs saved and income from reselling the booking. We will take reasonable steps to reduce that loss and explain the calculation on request. Any more generous cancellation terms disclosed when you book will apply.
6. Changes or cancellations by us
We may need to change, postpone or cancel an experience because of unsafe weather, an emergency, an instruction from the authorities, equipment failure or another circumstance affecting safe delivery. We will tell affected customers as soon as reasonably possible using the contact details supplied.
If we cancel your experience, or make a significant change that you do not accept, you may choose an available suitable alternative or a refund for the affected service we have not provided, including mandatory charges paid to us for it. You do not have to accept a voucher instead of a refund. If part of the service has been provided, any refund or other remedy will reflect the circumstances and your legal rights.
Bad weather alone does not create an automatic refund entitlement if the experience can safely proceed as agreed. However, circumstances outside our control do not give us an unrestricted right to retain payment for services we do not provide.
Refunds will be made without undue delay and within any applicable legal deadline, normally to the original payment method. These provisions do not exclude any additional remedy or compensation to which you are legally entitled.
7. Arrival and participation
Please follow the arrival instructions in your confirmation and have your booking reference available. Late arrival may reduce the time available because another party may be booked afterwards. We cannot guarantee an extension or alternative session. Any charge retained for a missed session remains subject to section 5 and your legal rights.
Follow reasonable safety instructions, capacity limits and the restrictions disclosed for your chosen experience. Children must be appropriately supervised by a responsible adult. Tell us about any assistance you need; we will consider reasonable adjustments and will not apply restrictions unlawfully or discriminatorily.
We may refuse service or ask someone to leave where reasonably necessary to protect safety, prevent unlawful activity or address abusive or seriously disruptive behaviour. Any financial consequences will be assessed fairly in the circumstances, rather than applying an automatic forfeiture of all payments.
8. Food and drink
Tell the relevant operator about allergies or dietary requirements before ordering and, for pre-booked catering, before booking where possible. Ask for current allergen information; do not rely solely on photographs, general descriptions or Smart Chat. We will explain whether we can meet a request before confirming it. This does not limit the operator’s food safety or allergen information duties.
Food and drink substitutions must be suitable and must not disregard agreed dietary requirements. If a significant booked item cannot be supplied and you do not accept a suitable alternative, we will offer an appropriate refund or other remedy.
Alcohol is available only to people aged 18 or over. Age identification may be required, and service may be refused where required by licensing law or for a legitimate safety reason.
9. Independent traders and external websites
Market stalls and some activities may be run by independent businesses. Purchases made directly from those businesses are normally contracts with them. Please retain your receipt and raise product or service concerns with the seller; we can help identify the relevant trader where possible. This does not exclude responsibility for our own actions or services.
External websites have their own terms and privacy information. A link does not mean we control all of their content. Our use of suppliers does not remove obligations we owe you under your contract with us.
10. Using our website and content
You may browse our website and save or print information for personal use and planning your visit. The website’s text, branding, photographs, video, artwork and map content belong to us or our licensors. Other uses require permission unless allowed by law.
Do not misuse the website, introduce harmful code, attempt unauthorised access, submit fraudulent bookings or interfere with other users. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the service. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted website availability.
11. Privacy and photography
Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is used, including enquiries, bookings, newsletters and identifiable event imagery. Cookie choices are separate from acceptance of these terms. Visiting the market or using the website does not by itself give consent to marketing messages or unrestricted use of your image.
Please respect other visitors’ privacy when taking photographs or video. Contact us in advance about organised commercial filming or photography so that access and safety arrangements can be discussed.
12. Our responsibility to you
We will provide our services with reasonable care and skill. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms do not impose a blanket cap limiting all compensation to the ticket price.
13. Complaints and disputes
Please email info@bristolchristmasmarket.com with your booking reference, what happened and the resolution you are seeking. We will investigate and respond as soon as reasonably possible. Contacting us does not prevent you from using any other remedy available to you.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not remove mandatory protections available under the law of your country of residence or restrict any right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Updates to these terms
We may update these terms for future website use and bookings. The version supplied or made available when your booking was accepted will continue to govern that booking, unless a change is required by law or agreed with you. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply where they can fairly do so.
